What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Install, configure, and maintain database servers across various environments including on-premise, Azure, and hosted solutions
- Monitor database performance and implement best practices to ensure optimal operation
- Develop and modify databases and management systems to meet evolving requirements
- Conduct database backup and recovery processes, ensuring high availability
- Participate in special projects involving automation and ETL processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, engineering, or computer science, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in database administration or database engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting software engineering teams through the software development lifecycle
- Minimum of 3 years of experience deploying, operating, and monitoring infrastructure in the AWS cloud
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities

- Experience with SQL Server and MySQL database platforms
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Familiarity with industry trends in database systems
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
