  These are only a few of many areas where you will guide product and engineering organizations in their key deliveries in enhancing our existing tools with AI capabilities. These contributions will impact product at major scale. In additional to superior technical acumen, the successful architect will also posses excellent business acumen for cultivating alignment, setting strategic direction, working through deep technical barriers and keeping executive leadership informed. You will have access to key customers and help Oracle determine where to invest resources in delivery of innovation to the flagship database product

  CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $116,400 to $254,300 per annum.
  US: Hiring Range in USD from: $161,700 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  This role will be working on a regular basis with colleagues around the world. To support this collaboration, knowledge of English is required for this role. Proficiency in French is required for candidates residing in Quebec, otherwise it is considered an asset.

  Responsibilities

  As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Suggest and justify product directions within approved directions. Define responsibilities for new projects and specifies, designs and develops software according to those specifications. Provide consultative software guidance and strategic direction associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
