- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
- Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
- Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
- Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
- Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
- Ability to lead a team and provide guidance on day to day activities understanding the project goals
- Database developer with 7+ years of experience working in databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata etc.
- 5+ years of experience using ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Talend, DataStage etc.
- Proficient in Advanced SQL Skills with hands on RDBMS experience in Oracle (Exadata).
- 4+ years hands on experience with Shell Scripting.
- Working knowledge on Autosys and/or other scheduling tools.
- Experience using bit bucket and xl-deploy for code release.
- Working in Agile Team (and familiar with SAFe Agile Practices).
- Strong Analytics skills
- Flexible to learn and work on new technologies
- Should be able to independently work through implementation (along with taking care of Release Management)
- Coordinating with Product Owners and other teams are required - good interpersonal skills and communication skills are needed
- Experience in Hadoop Development, with good understanding of Hadoop architecture, HDFS, Hive and Impala
- Experience using big data tools (Spark with Scala, PySpark, Pig, Scoop, Hive etc.).

This role involves creating data warehouses, writing SQL queries, developing stored procedures, tuning ETL processes, and understand BI tools/user needs. Work with business analysts and Stakeholders to understand data needs and implement solutions.
