- Design, develop, and test database packages, stored procedures, triggers using SQL and PL/SQL.
- Collaborate with API and UI development teams.
- Follow the change management, source code management, CI/CD practices and support the DevOps initiatives.
- Participate in all the steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify the software, following Agile methodologies
- Ensure well-written, testable, and high-quality code is produced
- Peer review code written by other developers
- Perform testing of code/projects to ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness to achieve desired results
- Resolve issues affecting project scope, quality, effort, risk, and timeline
- Serve as a Database development resource for guidance, instruction, and direction to the rest of the development team
- Proven experience in a Database Developer role:
- Experience with Oracle Databases (version 11 and above), SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with developing and maintaining complex database packages, procedures, functions, triggers
- Familiarity with Oracle Forms 11g or greater.
- Detail oriented and able to follow written and verbal direction
- Team oriented, action oriented, self-motivated, and delivery focused
- Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or 5+ years’ work experience with Oracle databases related technologies
- Experience with Azure API Management platform
- Experience with REST/JSON technologies
- Experience with Micro Services architecture and API management
- Experience PostgreSQL databases.

The Database Developer will work as the member of a team that designs, develops, tests, troubleshoots, and supports database applications developed using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and deployed on Oracle databases. This role can include but is not limited to creating new Oracle database stored procedure/functions, modifying, fine tuning and troubleshooting existing ones. We are looking for a Database developer who is experienced in building enterprise grade PL/SQL and SQL objects. Experience with Oracle Forms 11g or 12c is preferred.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary for this position is $125,000.00. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
