      The Assistant Director of Day Habilitation is responsible supervising and managing multiple Day Habilitation sites. This position would supervise two locations in the Bronx and one in Manhattan.

      The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 annually

      SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

      Manage assigned Day Habilitation sites and Day Habilitation staff.
      Interview/Hire staff.
      Ensure programs are adequately staffed.
      Provides sufficient oversight and observation to ensure that the actual delivery of services is in accordance with treatment plans.
      Maintain and inform Day Program Supervisor of all problems and suggestions within the Programs.
      Communicate with other QSAC departments regarding individuals we serve.
      Punctuality and regular attendance is expected.
      Maintain individual/family confidentiality.
      Commitment to company values and adherence to policies.
      Complete required QSAC orientation.
      Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


      Qualifications are subject to change in accordance with government regulations.
      Valid Driver's license.
      Ability travel throughout Nassau and all five NYC boroughs.
      Bachelor's degree and/or substantial related experience.
      Knowledge of OPWDD rules and regulations.
      Excellent writing skills.
      Strong organizational skills.
      Excellent communication skills.
      Supervisory experience.
      OPWDD Supported Employment experience preferred AND/OR knowledge of Pathways to Employment.
      Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served.
