      Basic Job Functions:

      NTP Cedar Springs is seeking a strong leader for the position of Day Shift Supervisor in Operations. The Day Shift Supervisor will lead efforts to Take Care of our Customers through Operational and Commercial Excellence. This position is an integral member of the operations leadership team and will be responsible in leading the efforts to continually improve our safety, quality, cost, reliability, productivity, profitability, and team member development of our department and division.

      Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience managing/leading others
      • 2-4 years in operations or maintenance
      • 1-3 years of experience in plating operations and continuous improvement
      • Computer skills in software packages: Microsoft Office.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
      • 4-Year Technical degree in Math, Science, or Engineering
      • Prior experience as a Supervisor
      • Prior experience in Electroplating/EGV/HDG operations
