What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage DB2 LUW databases and provide support for all FIS business groups
- Execute large scale data migrations from mainframe DB2 to DB2 LUW
- Develop and implement shell scripts for automation and configuration management
- Perform maintenance support on physical databases
- Utilize IBM IIDR data replication or similar CDC technologies for data replication
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 7+ years' experience with DB2 LUW
- Minimum 7+ years' experience with RHEL
- Proficiency in shell scripting (bash, kshell, cshell, python, perl)
- Experience with configuration management and automation (Ansible)
- Ability to provide maintenance support for physical databases
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with IBM IIDR data replication or similar CDC technologies
- Experience with large scale data migrations
