Job Description

- Manage full cycle recruiting process for hourly Team Members and collaborate with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Partnering with Operations Management on interview and new hire processing procedures
- Ensure that staffing goals are achieved consistently and timely.
- Manage background check and screening processes.
- Conduct weekly onboarding sessions and two per week during ramp up season.
- Assist Team Members with inquiries related to policies, benefits, payroll, performance management, compensation, training, etc. and collaborate with Home Office HR team to solve complex Team Member questions.
- Assist in maintaining the integrity of Team Member data in At Home’s HR systems, including auditing and corrections.
- Maintain all personnel records in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local laws as well as At Home policies, both physical and digital documentation.
- Track compliance with required company training and follow up with Team Members as needed, includes partnering with Operations Management on New Hire Check In process.
- Manage facility badges and Team Member discount cards.
- Support management team with attendance related questions and ensure timely completion of Team Member documentation to comply with attendance policies.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of employment laws & ensure legal compliance.
- Provide coaching and training to Team Members to drive Team Member self-service.
- Actively pursue knowledge of DC operations, policies, organizational structure, roles and responsibilities to better understand the business.
- Assist with department administrative tasks including but not limited to filing, copying, scanning, etc.
- Maintain hourly team member scheduling in Dimensions, new hire assignments and operational shift adjustments
- Active involvement in Employee Engagement activities, planning and executing
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in human resources/ related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of experience required with a working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to handle extremely sensitive and business confidential information with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
- Flexible and able to work under pressure to include tight deadlines and multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high sense of urgency.
- Flexible schedule – Ability to work a mid – late shift at least 3 days a week.
- Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred
