      Job Purpose

      To grow Nedbank’s market share and revenues from foreign exchange solutions provided to Coverage and Business Banking clients and to ensure optimal alignment of Nedbank's clients’ investment needs with Nedbank’s Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) approved Liquidity Risk Strategy.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Grow revenues and market share of FX and money market solutions from Coverage and Business Banking client base
      • Expand the share of FX revenues achieved from derivative solutions
      • Grow the client base through both retention and wallet share growth of existing client business and acquisition of new client business.
      • Ensure high levels of quality client engagement with new and existing clients to identify leads and cross-sell opportunities
      • Engage proactively with internal stakeholders – coverage bankers, business manager transactional services, credit, legal, regulatory & support teams
      • Ensure deposit market share alignment with Group ALCO
      • Ensure compliance with the Jibar code of conduct at all times
      • Provide feedback and input to the daily NCD screen setting process regarding l client activity
      • Take responsibility for your personal development including your technical competencies in FX and money market products to be the best in the market
      • Drive a digital first approach
      • Contribute towards creating a high-performance people culture in line with the Markets Culture Manifesto.
      • Perform regular competitor analysis and identify market trends
      • Apply relevant risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and codes of conduct

      Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

      • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
      • Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree

      Preferred Qualification

      Degree in Economics/Financial related field

      ACI Dealing certificate/ Registered Persons Exams (RPE)

      Minimum Experience Level

      3 years’ experience in foreign exchange and money markets products
