- Working in the NatWest Markets Corporate team, you'll provide support to the Southern European corporates origination or delivery desk
- Your main focus will be on the three product areas, Debt Capital Markets, Rates Derivatives and Liquidity Investment
- It’s a chance to have a tangible effect on our function, put your existing skills to the test and advance your career
- Look into risk management transactions, like interest rates, cross-currency swaps, rates options, repurchase agreements and securities lending
- Help with short-term cash solutions, including deposits, short EMTN and commercial papers
- Operate within the control, reporting, compliance and regulatory regime within our business
- Support a specialist team to serve a portfolio of clients and deliver our product capabilities, while driving client advocacy
- Provide analytical research and practical support to the team and assist in the day-to-day management of the service proposition to clients
- A track record of working with others to build business success
- Knowledge of fixed income markets
- An excellent commercial focus
- An awareness of ESG
- A practical understanding of the application of risk management disciplines
Join us as a Debt & Financing Solutions Associate
What you'll do
In this role, your client base will be large corporate treasuries that're headquartered in Iberia and Italy and you'll follow fixed income markets, generate trade ideas, produce ad-hoc pitches and support trade delivery.
Alongside this, you'll focus on debt capital markets transactions, including public bonds, private placements, liability management and hybrids.

You'll need the ability to solve complicated problems and an understanding of how to turn complex ideas and data sources into accessible and compelling narratives.
In addition, you'll need to hold a diploma in lending skills, or a relevant comparable qualification, and have an interest in being in a client-facing role.
