      Role and Responsibilities

      • Support the Debt Capital Markets Manager(s) in the execution of alternative financing and refinancing options to diversify the group funding structure.
      • Support the preparation of financial models.
      • Support the on-going management of existing debt facilities.
      • Preparation of internal and external presentations
      • Support the preparation of investor and due diligence reports and other stakeholder reporting
      • Partner with internal departments to provide reporting, resolve issues and work on cross functional projects
      • Build and maintain relationships with third parties (banks, investors, rating agencies)
      • Undertake the preparation of cash models.
      • Build cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders and work on cross-functional projects where necessary; feels a lot like the one 3 bullets above
      • Provide analytical support on special projects within the Debt Capital Markets Team as appropriate.
      • Updating and looking at databases to identify potential counterparties. This information will be used for marketing purposes to aid in the origination efforts of the team.
      • Execution involves negotiating the terms of the deal and liaising with internal teams to get the paperwork done re-phrase. This means onboarding, document reviews and client servicing for the duration of the deal. Third parties may be involved in due diligence, and it will fall to you to coordinate with them.

      Qualifications and Education Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, finance, accounting, or a related field
      • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in real estate mortgage credit or a related field with an understanding of capital structures.
      • Strong MS Excel Skills (including PowerPoint)
      • Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
      • Strong attention to detail
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering, mathematics, finance or accounting
      • Previous experience in real estate mortgage credit and an understanding of capital structures is favored
      • Committed work ethic and high level of enthusiasm, initiative and leadership potential
      • Impeccable integrity and trustworthiness
      • Highly motivated, team player
