      Job Description Summary

      As part of the Defined Benefit (DB) Operations team, facilitates a variety of processes which may include payment processing, death processing, payment verifications, beneficiary forms, data analysis, data entry, email review, data input.

      Job Description

      Responsibilities

      • Process DB benefit payments using basic knowledge of ERISA, taxation, accounting, and tools to perform operational processes.

      • Execute changes to DB payments, contact information, taxes, EFT detail, beneficiaries, etc. per participant or client request.

      • Review payment related forms to determine if in good order, and process based on knowledge of applicable rules and regulations

      • Provide technical assistance to internal partners including Client Consultants, Call Center Team, and the Project Team.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in business or finance field, or equivalent education/experience.

      • Strong math and statistical skills

      • Good verbal and written communication skills

      • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

      • Proficiency using MS Word, Excel

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience in the financial, insurance, or retirement industry

      • Defined benefit pension knowledge

      • Basic understanding of computer programming

Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation. **

      Compensation:

      The rate for this position generally ranges between $40,000 - 50,000. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.

      Bonus Eligibility:

      This position is also typically eligible for an annual bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 6%
