      Overview

      The Organizational Development & Learning (OD&L) Engagement Consultant- DEI is responsible for the creation and improvement of system wide programs that support the growth of our people and the development of our organization. This position will partner across the Organizational Development and Learning team to drive a holistic approach to organizational development and learning, with an emphasis on assessing, developing, delivering and coordinating programs on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

      This role will require a strong demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles, foundational organizational development skills, program and project management, leadership development and interpersonal effectiveness. As well as knowledge in OD&L areas of focus including, people development, organizational culture, educational programming, program design and implementation, change management, employee engagement, succession planning, performance management, equity & inclusion, and onboarding.

      This position is hybrid, which includes remote work. In addition to adhering to all Fairview policies, guidelines, procedures, the Fairview Commitments, and the Code of Conduct, it is the expectation the following requirements of the remote work policy will be met, including but not limited to:

      • Remote workspace that is clean, safe, and professional.
      • Maintains an internet connection consistent with Fairview standards at remote workspace.
      • Remain productive and responsive during their scheduled work hours.
      • Attend primary Fairview location, as needed.

      Responsibilities

      Drive a holistic, inclusive, and equitable OD&L approach

      Participate in the design, development and implementation of OD&L strategies, in support of Fairview’s organizational strategic plan.

      Ensure alignment between OD&L work and other organizational priorities for a cohesive overall experience.

      Oversee program implementation to meet or exceed agreed-to time frames and performance measures.

      Oversee change acceptance strategies and sustainability plans for OD&L initiatives.

      Ensure program effectiveness is measured through data collection, analysis, and reporting.

      Program Development

      Oversee high-impact curriculum ranging across the entire leader lifespan (future leaders, promotions, development, coaching, etc.). May provide operational oversight for strategic OD&L programs, including alignment, project management, deployment and improvement.

      Foster programs that c hampion Fairview’s culture to create a sense of belonging, value, and purpose for our people.

      Champion a data driven approach when evaluating learning needs and program effectiveness

      Facilitation of Programs/Curriculum

      Facilitate learning programs, interventions and development workshops.

      Engagement

      Build relationships with leaders across the system to develop and deploy customized interventions focused on change management, executive coaching, team development, talent development, and learning. Build trust-based relationships with senior leaders to support a leader-influenced approach to learning and development. Oversee the “voice of the customer” process to engage internal leaders and staff on development needs, and program and intervention impact. Facilitates programs which could include Retreats, Insights, Experiential Learning, Leadership Development Institutes (LDI) and New Employee Welcome.


      Qualifications

      Required

      Education

      • Bachelor’s degree in HR, I/O Psychology, Organization Development, Education, Sociology, Community Relations or related field

      Experience

      • 5 years of progressive experience in training and development, organization development, adult learning, project management, consulting or related work.
      • 3 years of formal or informal, program and people leadership or consulting experience in a complex organization with multiple employee groups.
      • In depth knowledge and experience in the application of adult learning and training best practices; including identifying and creating most effective intervention to meet identified need
      • Exceptional virtual and classroom instruction, facilitation, and presentation skills
      • Experience navigating challenging conversations related to diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice
      • The ability to proactively initiate, plan, manage and drive multiple projects and effectively prioritize workload
      • Ability to influence others and interact with all levels of the organization
      • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

      Preferred

      Education

      • Master’s degree HR, I/O Psychology, Organization Development, Education, Sociology, Community Relations or related field, or other related degree
      • Completion of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion certificate program
      • Organizational Design Certification.
      • Certification in the PROSCI Change Methodology and a working knowledge of the ADKAR model.

      Experience

      • Healthcare experience or relevant industry experience is preferred.

      License/Certification/Registration

      • Coaching certification
      • Professional certification in training, leadership and org development, or consulting
