Job Description

- Coordinating and ensuring timely outbound shipment of our spare part deliveries
- You are in direct contact with our forwarder base to find the best logistical solutions to assure timely arrival of our customers spare parts orders
- You are responsible for creating export and transport documents, as well as financial documents such as invoices, Certificate of Origin and other documentation
- All above keeping in mind both customer requirements and country import and export regulations
- You support the outbound processes, by assisting drivers and checking end of day cargo manifests in SAP and the Transport Management System
- During and after the above-described responsibilities, you are in contact with your stakeholders regarding freight costs estimations, shipping information, delivery status and documents requested.
- Stakeholders can be, but are not limited to: sales, forwarders, warehousing and customs compliance.
- Commercial education (BSc in Business Administration, Logistics, International business or equivalent)
- In-depth knowledge of Incoterms, logistics and transportation
- Previous experience in using SAP and Transport Management Systems
- Proven experience in delivery and export documentation roles
- Logistical background and broad experience from similar tasks
- Previous experience in handling logistics for Hazardous materials
- Demonstrable ability to work in a dynamic and international work environment
- Excellent communication, cooperation, and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail
- Flexible approach to work; open & willing to adapt to change (tasks are rotated within the team)
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Delivery Coordinator
to join our team working for a better future. The position is permanent and the preferred location is in Kampen, the Netherlands or Vaasa (Finland).
What will you be doing?
As a Delivery Coordinator you will have the opportunity to work as a logistics professional in our Delivery Coordination team and join our international work environment. The diversity of tasks and projects offer you possibility to challenge yourself and work with various groups of people.
We provide our customers with high-quality logistics services, being cost efficient and on-time. We are responsible for coordinating transport of our Wärtsilä Spare Parts products from our Central Distribution Centre (CDC) in Kampen, the Netherlands. We send over 140.000 spare part deliveries each year to our customers all over the world.
For these spare parts deliveries, it’s your responsibility to coordinate both the transports and documentation that accompanies the transport to our customers. We make sure we deliver goods at agreed place, time and with correct documents while staying cost efficient.Your work will focus on these responsibilities:
