  Delivery Driver

  Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd .was founded in 1993 to provide Foodservice Customers with a fresh alternative. An outstanding supply network, efficient distribution through our three regional locations, and our thoroughly modern processing plant are all part of our commitment to provide the freshest fruits and vegetables possible.

  Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring full time Delivery Drivers who are eager to work in a challenging, fast paced environment. Responsibilities include making deliveries within the GTA and surrounding areas.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationships

  • Manually sorting and unloading food products and hand-wheeling them into the customer locations with the use of ramps and occasionally stairs

  • Operating 5-tonne trucks safely and professionally to transport goods and materials over urban, short inter-urban and rural routes

  • Conducting routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets and incident reporting

  • Performing product delivery verification at the customer location and maintaining customer invoices

  • Following health and safety and safe work procedures

  Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Previous professional driving and delivery experience highly preferred

  • Must be flexible – able to work Saturdays

  • Clean CVOR and drivers abstract

  • Physically capable / lifting up to 50lbs

  • Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency

  • Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
