- Operate an automatic box truck in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicle
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Load, deliver, install and collect equipment at various customer locations
- Provide excellent customer service
- Provide basic customer training on copiers, printers and other office technology equipment
- Perform general technical duties such as connecting equipment to networks
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse when needed
- Valid Driver’s License with a relatively clean driving record
- One (1) or more years of experience driving a 16’ – 26’ box delivery truck preferred
- Ability to lift 50 – 75 lbs.
- Basic mechanical understanding preferred
- Ability to use smart phones and tablets
- Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet
- Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
- *Required to complete an annual DOT physical and drug screen if operating a vehicle weighing over 10,000 lbs.
- Hands-on training of Xerox equipment and all aspects of the delivery driver role and responsibilities
- Job shadowing to thoroughly prepare you to make deliveries and perform installations independently
- Ongoing career development training

Overview:Connecticut Business Systems (CBS), A Xerox Company, is an information services technology company that has continually redefined the workplace experience for more than 100 years is currently seeking a Delivery Driver to support the greater Newington and Horse Island, CT to upstate NY area. As a Delivery Driver you will be responsible for loading, securing, delivering and basic setup of equipment, while providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time opportunity (Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 4:00 PM with occasional overtime) delivering equipment throughout an assigned area.
