      Department - Business Management & Delivery

      Salary - National (Edinburgh and Leeds) ranging from £72,100 to £117,100 and London from £79,300 to £128,800 per annum (salary offered will be based on skills and experience)

      The Data, Technology & Innovation (DTI) Division at the FCA is driving digital, data and analytics advancements to transform financial regulation. Within the DTI, the Business Management & Delivery department has two key functions: Business Management ensures efficient operations, supporting the delivery of essential services, while Delivery manages the multi-year roadmap for the DTI portfolio and executes complex in-house technology changes. The Technology Delivery Manager will oversee technology-driven change, aligning the DTI delivery roadmap with the FCA's strategic priorities and long-term goals. This role ensures the successful coordination and delivery of technology initiatives across the organisation.

      What will you be doing?

      • Guide the development, implementation and delivery of complex technology change across the FCA’s critical platforms, ensuring solutions are modern and future-fit

      • Build and manage multidisciplinary matrix teams, ensuring the right structure and skill levels for successful delivery

      • Drive delivery through coaching, influencing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders

      • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, budgets and teams to ensure smooth project execution

      • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the Data, Technology & Innovation delivery roadmap, aligning with business strategy and priorities

      • Collaborate with FCA stakeholders to ensure technology projects meet business objectives and serve as a thought partner for DevSecOps-enabled change

      Minimum

      • Experience guiding complex multi-million-pound technology delivery initiatives in an outsourced, multi-sourced, or matrix environment

      • Proven track record in developing digital and technology services, preferably within a risk-conscious, regulated environment

      • Strong experience managing and influencing key stakeholders, including senior decision-makers both internally and externally

      Essential

      • Proven track record of guiding complex, large-scale organisational and technology change in a hybrid cloud environment

      • Strong experience driving results and continuous improvement through effective team management and collaboration

      • Expertise in developing multi-year plans and roadmaps

      • Extensive experience in developing and managing DevSecOps capabilities within a complex environment

      • Ability to establish, develop and facilitate knowledge in specialist technical areas, such as DevOps and Agile methodologies

      • Proven experience in driving innovation in IT development and the delivery of IT services
