      How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

      The DPS Communications & Engagement Manager role provides leadership and execution of projects and needs inside Delta Professional Services (DPS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. This is a full-time role with two direct reports, leading key support areas of the company, including DPS's employee communications, engagement, brand, creative, and digital media needs. This position will report to the VP of Business Administration.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS
      • Inspire, Include, and Inform full staff of the organization, focusing on a 90% nationwide, remote staff of nearly 500 and growing.
      • Lead and enhance the employee comms, engagement & brand strategy. Support in the buy-in and understanding of initiatives and programs.
      • Assist in the strategy development and execution of initiatives to elevate the overall employee experience from first impression and throughout the duration of employment.
      • Boost and develop a comprehensive, scheduled, tracked, and measured communications delivery plan and strategy. This includes the actual ability to draft, edit, and deliver written materials and messaging in a clear, on-brand tone.
      • Drive and grow the DPS multi-layered recognition strategy that motivates and engages a remote and corporate workforce.
      • Measure, track, and present data of initiatives with resulting impacts
      • Develop innovative, strategic, and tactical plans to address employee feedback garnered through employee engagement surveys and other channels. This includes analysis of feedback to identify opportunities and areas of focus.
      • Partner with parent company Engagement, Wellbeing, Communications, DE&I, Flight Ops, and other internal teams to elevate programming and resources to amplify efforts.
      • Assist in preparing and delivering leadership messages, presentations, video content, live streams, and related areas of the role.
      • Lead the vision and growth of the internal and external brand via digital outlets. Development of websites, intranet pages, landing pages & social media, and other technologies
      • Source internal and external technology-based solutions to execute programming and reach.
      • Procure and manage outside vendors, agencies, and contractors.
      • Maintain a solid understanding of DPS’s goals, objectives, and Flight Plan.
      • Specific duties as assigned by DPS management.

      What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)


      • A minimum of 5 years experience in a comms, branding, marketing, or engagement-type field.
      • Must be a curious, proactive, confident, and courageous leader who can navigate multiple projects and execute them in a timely fashion.
      • Possess good listening and questioning skills to adequately understand and develop solutions.
      • Excellent level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and graphics software
      • Excellent verbal and written communication with established writing abilities, developed organization skills, and a dedication to teamwork.
      • Experience with LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media outlets

      • Work in a fast-paced, newly established environment while maintaining attention to detail and flexibility.
      • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
      • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
      • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
      • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
