  We are looking for a Demand Planning Analyst Intern interested in starting a SWEET career as part of our team located in Park Ridge, NJ. This will be a s tudent pursing a Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain or business-related field. The assignment will provide valuable exposure and experience in areas of:

  Overview :

  • Contribute to the preparation, analyzing and validation of forecasting data to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Develop an understanding of supply chain process and practices with an understanding of key organizational stakeholders.
  • Learn to monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, demand, inventory, and business strategies.
  • Monitor item creations, launches, discontinuations, and changes.
  • Participate in identifying and recommending continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Job Assignment can include: The maintenance of data within MRP and forecast systems and proposing/implementing solutions to improve existing processes and practices.

  
  

  Qualifications :

  • Rising junior in college/university, pursuing bachelors degree in Supply Chain or a business- related field
  • 3.0 overall GPA or better.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills; and, demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated personal and professional values

  Required Skills/Experience :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as effective problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Have access to housing and reliable transportation.
  • Able to work a 40-hour week, beginning June 3rd, 2024.
  • Must be able to work in the office Monday thru Thursday; Work from Home Friday

  It would be sweet if you also had :

  • Mathematical and/or statistical knowledge.
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of and passion for the specific business you are interested in at PIM Brands
  • Strong passion for and knowledge of the Food and CPG industry
  • Leadership experience on or off campus
