What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist during a variety of treatment procedures to support patient care
- Set up and break down operatory post-treatment to maintain a clean environment
- Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- Support patient charting for doctors to ensure accurate records
- Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must obtain radiology and safety certification within the required timeframe for the state of practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a dental setting or with patient care is a plus
- Additional certifications in dental assisting or related fields
