      Location: Puyallup Tribal Health Authority | Tacoma, WA | On-Site

      Schedule: Full-Time | Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

      Hiring Range: $23.82 – $28.56 per hour

      Position Close Date: July 16, 2025

We are currently hiring Dental Assistants to join our vibrant, team-oriented dental clinic. At PTHA, we serve with heart.       What You’ll Do:

      As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients – from chairside assistance using four-handed techniques to patient education. You’ll also have the opportunity to:

      • Support restorative, surgical, orthodontic, and pediatric dental care
      • Perform prophys, x-rays, sealants, and fluoride treatments
      • Assist with triage duties for emergency care situations
      • Train and mentor new team members
      • Perform expanded function duties including placement of restorations, temporary crowns, and orthodontic treatment


      What You Bring:

      • At least (5) years’ general dental assistant experience
      • At least (2) years' experience orthodontic, pediatric, and/or expanded functions assisting
      • Current Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certification or ability to obtain within (1) year of hire
