- X-Ray Certification (or completion within 6 months of hire)
- BLS Certification (or completion within 6 months of hire)
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Consistently professional appearance and attitude.
- Able to provide great patient care.
- 1 year experience as a dental assistant.

- Sterilization of dental instruments
- Setting up dental procedures
- Taking alginate impressions
- Ability to take clear x-ray films
- Document vitals and chief complaints in chart
- Document notes in chart
- Document treatment plan in chart
- The duties of this position are performed onsite at a Thundermist location.
- This position requires the use of fingers and hand manipulation using instruments and dental equipment. On feet most of the day.
- As determined with department hiring needs.
- Must be available for overtime, including nights and weekends, when necessary.
- This position requires the ability to verbally communicate with patients.

General Responsibilities:
The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing hands-on support to the Dentist, completing preparation work to efficiently care for patients and assist during dental procedures.

Sign on bonus incentive: This position offers a $2,000 sign on bonus, which will be paid in two parts. The first half paid after successful completion of 6 months of employment, and the second half after successful completion of 12 months of employment.
