!*!The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a DENTAL CLINIC COORDINATOR to be responsible for the daily supervision of clinic operations. Supervises staff; makes staff assignments; interviews, hires, selects and trains employees; disciplines and conducts performance evaluations. May perform routine dental hygiene and other dental patient care. Assists in budget preparation and develops policies and procedures. Gathers data for quality assurance and long term planning. Manages the patient recall system. Coordinates and monitors the dental auxiliary utilization program. Orders all departmental supplies. Oversees various accounting functions i.e. collecting payments and paying invoices and assigns patients to resident and supervising faculty.
!*!(Annual Salary: $52,555 - $85,400)Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
This position is located in the 1917 clinic working with HIV patient population.
