What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to and resolving inquiries and issues
- Research complex issues across multiple databases to resolve customer problems
- Educate members on health incentives and benefits
- Address complex issues and escalate when necessary
- Translate healthcare-related terms into simple instructions for members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/GED or 10+ years of equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1+ years of customer service experience in an office or professional setting
- Ability to work flexible shifts during normal business hours
- Successful completion of training classes and proficiency demonstration
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Dental terminology, health plan documents, or benefit plan design
- Prior experience utilizing multiple systems/platforms while on a call with a member
