- Ensuring that the practice meets regulatory and contractual standards whilst remaining financially viable.
- Providing solid leadership, based on a sound knowledge of business management, finance, planning and human resource management, including recruitment.
- Driving innovation and modernisation.
- Meeting the reporting requirements and complying with local and national KPIs and contracts.
- Co-ordinating and leading the operational delivery of the services, engaging with staff, patients etc.
- Presenting and analysing data, to monitor quality.
- Attending meetings.
- Effectively managing staff.
- Developing effective partnerships, with other organisations, to benefit the practice.
- Taking responsibility for security, repairs, insurance and maintenance of the premises, services and equipment.
- Ensuring that the practice complies with all aspects of Health and Safety at Work legislation.

- Implementing and maintaining systems, under direction from the partners.
- Handling patient enquiries and suggestions, including oversight of the practice-based complaints procedure.
- Reviewing and updating the practices information leaflet and website.
- Experience working as a practice manager with some experience in medical/dental sector.
- CQC experience/CQC registered manager.
- Skills to motivate and drive a team forward;
- Private and NHS practice experience.
- Book keeping experience.
- Social media skills.
- Someone who is reliable, mature, punctual, willing to learn, presentable, hard working and able to work under pressure.
- A passion for dentistry.
- A fast learner and team player with excellent organisational skills who is able to demonstrate an excellent can-do attitude.
- Treatment coordinator skills and experience.
