      Job Summary: Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry’s Division of General Dentistry is seeking multiple Dental Specialists I at Assistant Professor rank, in San Bernardino county, CA to assume responsibility for managing and directing dental clinical care provided by pre-doctoral dental students and delivered to patients of the dental school. Teach, mentor and advise students related to dental clinical care. Promote the University Core Values and LLUSD standards of care, overseeing comprehensive care for Dental School patients with dental health problems, including developing treatment plans, directing clinic students and staff in patient care and prescription writing. Instruct and supervise in key areas of oral diagnosis, treatment planning and key areas of dental specialty. Work with patient care manager and schedulers to ensure appropriate efficiency in clinic utilization and patient care. Engage in dental science research and participate in faculty decision-making in departmental committees. Perform other duties as needed.

      Education and Experience: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or equivalent in Dentistry required.



      Licensures and Certifications: Completion of an Advanced Dental Education Program; license to practice dentistry in California or recognized special exemption or faculty permit.
