Job Description

- Provide comprehensive routine and emergency dental care to patients of all ages
- Treatment modalities include plaque control/cleanings, pit and fissure sealants, topical fluoride, patient education, oral cancer screening, active intervention in disease process, temporary sedative fillings, permanent fillings, surgical extractions, referrals to oral surgeons, and dentures
- Educate patients regarding care, diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and prognosis
- Provide comprehensive routine dental care and dental education in community and/or school-based settings utilizing fully mobile equipment
- Participate in training and quality improvement activities (such as peer review activities) to enhance personal and organizational performance and outcomes
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Current license to practice dentistry in the State of Rhode Island
- Experience providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with electronic medical/dental record systems

East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a full-time or part-time Dentist to join our Dental Center Team in our Newport, RI location. East Bay Dental Clinic provides comprehensive dental care to individuals of all ages. Our dentists and hygienists use state-of-the-art equipment to ensure our patients maintain optimal oral health.
