      • Hours are 7:00-4:00pm, Monday-Friday
      • May require an adjustment of schedule to complete assignments and workload.
      • This position is based within Jefferson Regional
      • In this unique setting, daily interactions with a diverse clientele, including hospital staff, physicians, and visitors, are expected.

      Job Summary:

      The Department Secretary for the Cardiovascular Services Department provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the department. This role involves interacting with healthcare professionals, patients, and other departments, managing schedules, maintain records, and performing various clerical tasks to support the delivery of cardiovascular services.

      Department Secretary Qualifications:

      • High School diploma or equivalent
      • Associate Degree in a related field preferred.
      • Minimum of 2 years of administrative or secretarial experience.
      • 5+ years of administrative or secretarial experience preferred.
      • Experience in a healthcare setting or clinical setting preferred.
      • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and medical terminology preferred.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) helpful.
      • Strong organizational and time management skills.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
      • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
      • Basic Computer skills.
