This position will perform administrative review of work invoices submitted for reimbursement by the Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund and Legacy Release Program. This position will complete tasks required to successfully implement the duties of the Michigan Underground Storage Tank Authority (Authority), including policies, procedures, forms, guidance documents, and data management systems; as well as review requests for determination, financial responsibility, claims, and work invoices for compliance with Part 215 of Act 451. This position will also provide information to underground storage tank owners, operators, consultants, and other stakeholders regarding Authority policies and procedures.
Position Description
The work location for this position is the Deborah A. Stabenow Building in Lansing. However, the selected candidate may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule (combination of remote and in-person) or a fully remote work schedule (with occasional travel to their official work location). Employees approved for schedules that include remote work must complete that work within Michigan. Relocation expenses are not reimbursed. When working remote, employees must use a designated workspace that is safe and professionally appropriate, allows for privacy, minimizes distractions, and includes secure internet access. Details regarding work location and schedule options for this position may be discussed during the interview process.
Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Departmental Analyst 9
No specific type or amount is required.
Departmental Analyst 10
One year of professional experience.
Departmental Analyst P11
Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
