- Design Build Manager will act as a customer representative to review and document design activities of a third-party engineering and construction firm in the delivery of a fiber to the home network.
- He/She will be responsible for verification of compliance with construction standards and the review of optical testing results.
- This could include review of FTTH Low Level Design documents before construction and post construction as built documents to support job completion acceptance for the customer.
- Responsibilities could also include quality control/assurance including, performing quality inspections of the placement of aerial, buried and underground fiber optic and coaxial cable, conduit, grounding and bonding inspections, hand hole, pedestal and aerial terminal placement, documentation, and ensuring the adherence to standards.
- The Design Build Manager will report to the Deploy Services Lead who will provide guidance and strategy for the overall project.
- Candidates should have previous experience in OSP engineering design and construction practices. He/She should understand what is technically required to build out a new OSP fiber network and the step-to-step process that needs to be completed by an engineering and construction firm.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and other standard tools.
