Job Description
- Req#: 396593
- Collaborating with Dev and QA teams to create brand new CI/CD pipelines for new services and applications, ensure pipelines adhere to Paycom and auditing standards.
- Automating and improving existing software delivery infrastructure and processes
- Work with level I engineers to complete infrastructure change work and verify changes follow expectations and standards.
- Designing, maintaining, and implementing software delivery infrastructure and processes.
- Work with a team of Deployment Engineers to release code to the production environments on a weekly basis.
- Working with Dev, IT, and QA to identify and resolve code and system errors in testing and production environments and incident management resolution
- Working with IT and QA on setting up new servers, installing new applications, and creating monitoring and observability feedback loops.
- Respond to afterhours requests and alerts from our monitoring system
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field
- 2 years in software development, software engineering, or DevOps like role
- 2 years usage of CI/CD tools
- 2 years with Windows operating system
- 1 year experience with SQL
- 1 Year experience with at least one coding/scripting language
- 1 year of Source Control experience
- 1 year experience with Linux RHEL/CentOS
- 1 year experience with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with XML/YAML/Markup languages
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field
- Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, CKA)
- GitLab certification
- Red Hat certification
- DCA certification
- 2 years DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering
- 2 years of GIT
- 2 years of creating pipelines in CI/CD tools
- 1 year of scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Additionally they are expected to be familiar with DevOps practices and utilize them in our software delivery process.
