- Position IKEA Delft as the leader in life at home in the local market by continuously showing the depth and width of the IKEA product range through relevant, affordable, functional, inspiring and sustainable home furnishing solutions in all media and channels.
- Connect the IKEA offer with the IKEA knowledge of peoples' life at home in the market and use the strength of the IKEA Brand to make changes visible to customers.
- Together with Store management team develop a strategic plan for IKEA Delft to become a high performing omnichannel retailer.
- Secure competent and high-performing teams and leaders who inspire and empower every co-worker to recognize and understand their contribution;
- Live the IKEA Values and nurture a strong and living IKEA Culture that inspires co-workers to extraordinary achievements in the store;
- Identify and develop the many talents within the store to secure succession planning;
- Develop, lead and deliver growth, low cost and sustainable profitability in accordance with our overall purpose, retail direction and our financial strategy within the market to maximize the growth and potential of the market P&L.
- Partners with other Market Managers and stakeholders to share entrepreneurial ideas and express opportunities for improvement on current ways of working.
- Ensure an overall "green" score in an IKEA Concept review conducted by Inter IKEA System B.V.
- Lead the store in a lean and simple way by using the foundations of the IKEA Concept as proven solutions while at the same time challenging the IKEA organization to improve ways of working in order to identify and develop new business opportunities and commercial potential.
- Be an ambassador of the IKEA Concept with all stakeholders.

Would you like to be Deputy Market Manager for IKEA Delft Store , one of the top turnover and volume stores in the world.
The IKEA Delft store has always been a bit different, and has played different roles. It has worked as part of the IKEA Concept Center, the global hub and source of know-how. It has been a pilot store, testing out ideas developed here and around the rest of the IKEA world. And most recently it took on the new challenge to become the first IKEA reference store.
IKEA reference stores support and inspire IKEA retailers and customer meeting points to implement the IKEA Concept in the best way.Right now, the IKEA Delft is transforming to be the best omnichannel retailer in its market. This will be the main assignment for the next few years.
The IKEA Delft Store is the only store owned by Inter-IKEA Systems B.V.

You´ll need some experience!
The person we are looking for must have a solid IKEA Retail background and proven track of performance in different retail functions, preferably commercial and operational. You must be familiar with the way we do business and the way we act. You have experience as a Market Manager for a small store or are identified as potential Market Manager.No one expects you to master your new position from day one – but your proactiveness, great leadership, planning and communication skills will support you in doing a great job.
What are some of the characteristics we are looking for in the Deputy Market Manager? You can lead yourself in uncertainty, you are strong and self-confident, resilient, and adaptable, you work fast, can work under pressure and multitask.
You’ll be expected to plan and steer various kinds of projects, set direction, create and manage plans, set budgets and goals, and follow up on KPI’s across all channels, which requires hands-on experience in strategic planning and in-direct leadership. You must have strong integrity and the ability to interact and build networks and bridges with people in different environments and contexts. Additionally, you must be a great organizer who can back up Market Manager in various situations.
