      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Complete inspection and investigation reports
      - Conduct safety, health, and electrical inspections
      - Supervise search and rescue operations at abandoned and inactive mines
      - Provide field supervision, training, and evaluation of subordinate new hires
      - Prepare reports and give expert testimony at hearings, trials, and inquests

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Possession of a Class D License
      - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
      - Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and other relevant regulations
      - Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively
      - Experience in fields under the jurisdiction of the State Mine Inspector

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Safety Engineering degree or equivalent certification
      - Experience as a Certified Mine Safety Professional
      - Familiarity with industrial hygiene procedures
