- Manage field issues related to drivetrain systems and escalate to find solutions through CPI/BIQ and deliver the results through publications.
- Interact with all regional product support teams for handling regional product issues.
- Prepare monthly DPU reports, analyse and identify opportunities for CPI, process audit and discuss issues with CIPL operations, quality, and product group.
- Support CPI projects by providing input data that required for getting the project through DMAIC process.
- Must be proficient to communicate technically with process partners, regional product support and dealers.
- Should have knowledge of NPI/NSI processes and experience in Field Follow validation activities.
- Should have knowledge of other functions that provide inputs regularly, i.e., Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations.
- Must be very customer focused and can drive change throughout the enterprise effectively & able to manage risk and ambiguity on critical situations.
- Good functional knowledge on Transmission / Lower Powertrain system & subsystems.
- Experience with product support tools: VisionLink, DSN, CPI, PPRD, RWA, HVC (PRWB), SISweb, and SIMSi.
- Solid technical aptitude with good troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working directly with dealer service departments and interfacing with customers.
- Strong communications and interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive issues or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific actions.
- Knowledge of service tooling, repair processes/practices and dealer service capabilities.

Job Scope:
This job is required to lead Product Support front for Drivetrain Systems India for the LPT and UPT that are manufactured from CIPL. Also supporting Decatur and KK products that are functioning in APD regions.
Job duties and Responsibilities
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Educational Background:
Requires an accredited Mechanical or Automobile engineering degree, with 12 plus years of relevant experience and have exhibited ability to work on complex assignments.
Required Experience/ Skills:
Demonstrated excellent project management, team leadership & communication skills.
Desired Experience/ Skills:
Preferably Six Sigma Green/Black belt with good understanding & experience with DMAIC methodology of problem solving.
Work Location: WTC, Chennai
