      About our group:

      Our VLSI Systems team is a part of the Seagate VLSI team, but is not focused on Hard Disc Drive development. We are in a growth area that supports EDS, emerging memores, CSG, and other teams in Seagate that are looking to productize new technologies in either FPGA's or ASIC's. This is currently a smaller team that has some exciting new opportunities and needs to build up the team to be able to support the current programs. The team has a very solid developing multiple ASIC and FPGA designs that are currently being used in various Seagate products.

      About the role - you will:

      • Develop a thorough understanding of design requirements and the applicable technologies
      • Design logic to meet those requirements using SystemVerilog
      • Work in collaboration with verification engineers to debug the design using simulation tools
      • Work with implementation engineers to define timing constraints and to resolve timing issues
      • Participate in FPGA/ASIC device bring-up and debug

      About you:

      • You are a graduate engineer who is detail oriented and works well with others
      • You enjoy interacting with other design engineers as well as verification and implementation engineers

      Your experience includes:

      • Some experience in logic design using Verilog or SystemVerilog
      • Good communication skills
      • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 0+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience

      You might also have:

      • Experience with FPGA development and one or more of the following interface types: PCIe, NVMe, CXL, DDR, AXI
      • Experience with Synopsys simulation and design analysis tools (VCS, Verdi, Spyglass)

      Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated base salary range for this position: $68,470 – $97,904. Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
