Description:

-This position will be a design engineer role that will be about 70% of the time working in Solidworks designing equipment and 30% of time spent managing projects with internal teams.

-Examine requests from production or the field teams on what changes need to be made.

-Use Solidworks and Autocad to alter any design or and design changes. Work with the product design teams on any large changes.

-Contact vendors or switch suppliers to support production inventory.

-Assist in implementing the change out onto the floor. Follow-up with staff to make sure process is being followed.

-Make engineering change orders within BOM, PDM, etc.

-Manage the ECN system for timelines, requests, etc.

-Will be responsible for any follow up out to the field as requests come in.

Skills:

Solidworks, Design, Mechanical engineering, Mechanical design, sheet metal

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Technology, Aerospace Engineering

2+ years of Solidworks which can include schooling.

Must have off-highway equipment experience

6+ months with Mobile Equipment Manufacturing
