Your new responsibilities and tasks – Challenging and future oriented Preparation of system design and detailed design for Overhead contact line projects, documentation for installation etc. Responsible for all Overhead catenary system design activities during project life cycle up to substantial completion: design delivery, installation instructions etc. Analyses and reviews design and other submission documents Finding solutions for complex situations within technical limits Interface clarification and technical integration of overhead contact line systems Technical management, planning and controlling of own engineering work packages Support of sales departments and project management during bid phase and project execution phase Technical clarification with sup-suppliers abroad Technical support of the manufacturing and commissioning engineers concerning analysis of technical problems and answering of technical inquiries Participation in technical liaison meetings with customer, suppliers and Siemens internal departments overseas Your qualification – Well-grounded and adequate Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering, civil or mechanical engineering Preferable 12+ years of professional experience in the field of overhead catenary design (OHE/OHL) Thorough understanding of overhead contact line systems, design and calculation Knowledge of interfaces and contexts in railway sector Knowledge of BIM Modelling Knowledge of managing of small technical teams within an assigned project Knowledge of relevant European and international standards Knowledge of engineering processes and realization of international projects Intercultural experience and good English language High level of customer and quality orientation together with strong abilities in consulting and implementation We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
