We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Project Coordinator located in Fond du Lac, WI.

      How you will contribute:

      As a Design Project Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to our Design, Project, and Sales Teams by utilizing a variety of computer programs and assisting with a variety of tasks. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and an assertive but professional personality to obtain information when required. Coordination responsibilities include:

      • Assist in creating, tracking, and monitoring Foreman Packs for field deployment.
      • Track and ensure deadlines are met for submittals and O&M manuals.
      • Support the Design team by providing accurate, detailed information needed to create and maintain submittal documents.
      • Provide project-specific information to both the Design and Sales teams as needed.
      • Support the Design Manager with various tasks and project needs.
      • Help gather information from local municipalities as required.
      • Assist in coordinating and scheduling inspections.

      Work alongside team members at all levels of the organization by clarifying and resolving concerns while maintaining exceptional customer service. You will be challenged to excel beyond your expectations in this team-oriented environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be very instrumental in the successful execution of our National Fire Protection Division.

      What you need to qualify:

      Ideal candidate should bring to Ahern a completed Associate's degree in an administrative program and/or three to five years of administrative support type experience, preferably within the construction industry. Those who will excel in this role will have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment, a proven ability to juggle multiple tasks at once, and enjoy working in a role with a wide variety of tasks. This role requires someone who is highly proficient in Microsoft Office 2016 and technically inclined to learn industry-specific software.
