      Job Summary

      **Hybrid role in Dallas**

      This position is responsible for designing, conducting, and synthesizing human centered design research in support of C1 client design engagements and stakeholder collaboration projects. Responsibilities include leading design research activities and supporting concept design and implementation efforts based on formative, exploratory and evaluative research methods. The member insights will inform and inspire design and innovation engagements to address both user needs and HCSC stakeholder interests.

      Job Responsibilities:
      •Responsible for designing, conducting, and synthesizing human centered research related to the design, incubation, innovation, assessment, and implementation efforts for new or improved business opportunities
      •Design and facilitate research projects including primary and secondary research methods, generating qualitative insights and quantitative relationships that lead to user-centered opportunity identification and ideation
      *Secondary research includes desk research and literature reviews
      *Primary research includes conducting and moderating interviews and
      discussion groups
      *Familiarity with general data analytics and quantitative research methods
      •Synthesize research to prioritize top, actionable member challenges and design opportunities
      •User testing and evaluation to help iterate products, services, and concept prototypes
      •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide an impactful experience to clients
      •Recommend new research methodologies to enhance design sprint practice
      •Support design sprint facilitation and client facing engagement activities
      •Utilize creative storytelling and detailed research insights to bring to life member experiences
      •Identification and refinement of research tools, platforms, and best processes
      •Limited travel including overnight stays expected
      •All other duties as assigned

      Required Job Qualifications:
      •Bachelor’s degree and 3 years design research, product design, design strategy or other related field
      •Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
      •Experience with user-centered design practices, methods and tools)
      •Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and practices
      •Experience with translating insights into actionable solutions, products, or services
      •Experience working in a highly collaborative, consulting type environment

      Preferred Job Qualifications:
      •Familiarity with the health care industry and/or a highly regulated service industry
      •Experience communicating with poise and professionalism with clients and co-workers
      •Experience collaborating and working with multi-disciplinary teams and cross functional departments
      •Experience in a consulting role with large enterprise level accounts and multiple, concurrent projects
      •Experience with Design Thinking, Human Centered Design, or UX and CX methodologies
      •Familiarity with quantitative research methods
      •Passion for improving member journeys through design
      •Experience with hybrid/remote working arrangements and virtual collaboration tools
      •Maintain a curious, user-centered mindset
