- Lead workshops and discovery sprints to identify impactful AI use cases across business functions
- Apply frameworks like JTBD, AI Use Case Matrix, and Value vs Feasibility Mapping for opportunity prioritization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (strategy, data, engineering) to align AI efforts with business strategy
- Prototype and test AI-powered experiences across digital and physical service touchpoints
- Design metrics and feedback loops to monitor and improve AI performance
- Promote principles of transparency, explainability, and trust in AI design
- Develop toolkits, playbooks, and internal programs to build AI fluency across teams
- Champion a human-centered approach to AI through storytelling and experiential learning
- Drive a culture of experimentation and innovation with emerging technologies
- 5+ years in design strategy, product design, or innovation with exposure to AI/ML technologies
- Strong portfolio highlighting strategic design thinking and human-centered innovation
- Familiarity with AI/ML capabilities, limitations, and applications
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional workshops and manage stakeholder collaboration
- Skilled in communicating complex tech concepts through compelling narratives
- Proficiency in design, prototyping, and visual storytelling tools
- Ability to visualize complex systems and communicate relationships clearly
- Experience with generative AI, LLMs, or intelligent agents (preferred)
- Strength in service design within intricate systems such as healthcare (preferred)
- Pay Range: $111,600.00-$178,600.00
- Reporting to Director, Strategic Design
- Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday
- Location: Hybrid; 1x a week at 633 Third Ave, New York, NY

We are looking for a Design Strategist to support the integration of human-centered design with cutting-edge AI capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of design, strategy, and emerging technology—championing responsible and impactful AI adoption across the organization. You’ll play a key role in identifying high-impact opportunities for AI, educating teams, and will be involved in the design and testing of intuitive, ethical AI-human interactions that unlock real value. You will also lead the redesign of processes and experiences through to implementation.
