CAD Design Engineer
• A brief description of the team/environment they will be working, i.e. size, reporting lines, fast paced etc.
• A fast-paced quantum computing hardware team with a large variety of projects requiring mechanical components and systems.
• What are the 5 essential and desirable skills/ experience required for the role?
• Strong 2D and 3D CAD mechanical component and system design skills.
• Skill with Solidworks and/or Creo for design of mechanical components and systems.
• Working with other skill domains such as PCB layout, electrical design, system integration for generating requirements for mechanical components and systems.
• Experience and detailed knowledge of generating mechanical drawings and related documentation for manufacturing of mechanical components.
• Ability to manage time between concurrent CAD projects.
• What are the minimum educational qualifications required, including any specific professional training or certifications?
• Min: BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or related degree program with 5 years of established experience
• Prefer: MS in Electrical or related degree program with at least 2.5 years of experience
• Will the worker require experience/knowledge of any specific IT Systems/Software?
• Strong experience with Solidworks and/or Creo software.
• Experience generating mechanical drawings and related documentation for manufacturing of mechanical components.About the company
