      What you'll do

      You will manage relationships with suppliers and collaborate with their design teams to create original and exclusive products. Your excellent communication skills will allow you to effectively represent the team in front of key stakeholders. You will manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure the timely delivery of projects. From designing commercial and functional aspects of products to translating customer needs into deliverable attributes, you will contribute to innovation, product trends, and lifestyle. Staying informed about market trends and competitor ranges, attending trade fairs and press shows, and conducting competitor shop reports will further enhance your role as a Designer. Your passion for the brand, customer focus, and effective communication and teamwork skills will contribute to the growth and success of our product categories.       Who you are

      You possess a keen eye for trends, a flair for creativity, and a deep understanding of the market and customer needs. With a proven track record in delivering inspirational designs, you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and excel in collaborating with suppliers and external designers to create original and exclusive products. Your strong project management skills allow you to effectively manage the development of products from concept to launch, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and legal standards. As a clear communicator and team leader, you mentor and guide junior team members while representing the team in front of key stakeholders. Your creativity, market knowledge, and proficiency in design software enable you to contribute to innovation, identify new trends, and drive the growth and success of our product categories at Sainsbury ’s.
