- Develop field sketches and PMCD layouts.
- Communicate within assigned discipline and coordinate work with other disciplines.
- Demonstrate a continuing consciousness of safety in daily activities, and implemented in work designed.
- Mark up works in progress for others to draft (or CADD).
- Perform related fundamental engineering support tasks such as line list and pulling of existing client engineering mechanical and process data.
- Produce PMCD/P&ID layouts to be drafted by in-house team.
- High school education or equivalent with basic drafting courses training from vo-tech or other applicable program with a minimum of seven years of technical work experience. As an alternative, a minimum of two years of education in an associate or bachelor’s degree program for the relevant discipline and five years of experience.
- Knowledge of Mechanical and Controls is also needed to properly represent required work scope.
- Competent and experienced with design codes, specifications, and standards.
- Must demonstrate a sound understanding of design concepts with minimum engineering input.
- Knowledge of PMCD/P&ID development.
- 5 years min. as a Piping Designer, in plant experience is not required but extensive field knowledge is a must.

Job Summary:
Develop PMCD’s and/or P&ID’s for the Utilities area compressor. Work will include required field work to reverse existing engineer piping systems though field sketches to produce record documents for Client.
