Interpret user research insights and translate into tangible solutions
Design new components
Design new features or variants of existing components
Produce detailed component documentation for developers and designers
Represent the design system via stakeholder relationships, frequent presentations
Collaborate heavily across engineering, branding, and product teams
Uphold our brand and usability standards, and ensure our products remain consistent, sleek and elegant
Bachelor's degree in a Design field (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of relevant experience
Experience creating or contributing to enterprise scale design systems
Deep understanding of design tokens
Superior communication and presentation skills
Figma, or equivalent design application experience
Ability to work across multiple tracks, of work and to pivot quickly in a changing environment
Knowledge of product design in the AI space
Deep understanding of accessibility
Experience working on an agile team and familiarity with agile methodologies
Motion and interaction design experience
Prior work building or contributing to large design systems
Understanding of visual design principles
HTML, CSS, Javascript, React
NVIDIA’s Kaizen UI Design System shortens the time between concept and deployment, while providing a consistent and stylish brand experience. We’re hiring a designer to join the Kaizen UI team. You’ll be helping teams at NVIDIA to ship critically important products. Our team comprises outstanding developers, designers, and product managers who work closely with members of the Deep Learning & AI community. As a Kaizen UI Designer, you will create new components and features, advocate for a consistent design language, and produce various forms of content supporting these efforts. You will collaborate across engineering, research, branding, and product management. We're looking for someone who is curious and collaborative. We are looking for an eager Senior Designer who is excited to work in a fast paced and fluid environment within a global multi-disciplinary team.

The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 247,250 USD.
