      Designer, Studio A

      Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

      As a Designer, you will create and execute a wide range of concepts and creative solutions. You will execute digital creative projects from concept to completion - following the global brand direction and digital style guides. You will be focused on creating excellent, compelling, and effective executions that deliver against specific creative briefs. You will collaborate with the rest of the creative team - including art directors, copywriters, designers, project managers, and producers - as well as all strategic stakeholders. You are responsible for adhering to templates and best practices as well as driving the creative work of assistant designers.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Design & Execution

      • Able to manage and direct projects independently.
      • Make final deliverables for briefed projects in Photoshop, Figma, Powerpoint, or Celtra.
      • Own and maintain presentations across all briefed projects.
      • Provide moodboard imagery for concepts and visual direction.
      • Responsible for post-production tasks (creation of supers, image and gif selection/cropping and delivery when applicable).
      • Assist in writing or creating any editing/retouching/post feedback to partners.
      • Ensure files names and metadata are correct.
      • Double-check own work and self-edit before sending to Art Director/Sr. Designer for approval.

      Creative Direction

      • Participates in brief kickoffs.
      • Read brief carefully and ask critical questions.
      • Participate in brainstorms and concepting exercises.
      • Research trends and find imagery to support concepts or visual directions.
      • Present to stakeholders when requested.
      • Assist in creative partner selection.
      • Assist production details including location, casting, props, styling, treatment of shoot.

      Art-Direction/On-Set

      • Assist in creation of shot list
      • Assist in creation of storyboard
      • Monitor shot list, lighting, and framing on-set. Raise concerns.
      • Mockup selects to ensure framing/shot usability.
      • Be solution oriented.

      • Stakeholders and project briefers (Digital Content, Retail Marketing, Membership, SEO Editiorial, Planning)

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

      Soft Skills :

      • Strong communication & negotiation skills.
      • Comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely.
      • Ability to maintain consistency across designs while following campaign and brand direction.
      • A collaborative mindset.

      Requisite Education and Experience:

      • A degree with focus on design, visual art, and/or related areas.
      • 3+ years of experience as a digital designer.
      • Experience developing successful concepts and working in collaborative multi-functional teams.
      • Experience in design industry and ability to predict future trends.
