  GRAPHIC DESIGNER

  Passion City Church DC

  OBJECTIVE

  To help carry out the mission of Passion City Church, that we are: for God, for people, for the city, and for the world. The Graphic Designer will come alongside the Worship + Creative Director and the entire PCC DC Staff Team to create design content that awakens hearts and minds to see and savor Jesus. This role will exist to help communicate the gospel of Jesus by helping to develop, create, and implement graphic design needs for Passion City Church DC as we serve the vision of the entire House - from large project series art to quick turnaround social media assets.
  
  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for versioning assets for digital and print mediums using existing and approved concepts
  • Create and export Sunday deliverables to share the message of Jesus to the world
  • Will lean heavily into social media design and version assets for social media export
  • Involved in collaboration for large-scale projects (i.e., US Conference branding, Easter look/feel, etc.)
  • Works closely with Worship + Creative Director to execute design vision for our House, and works closely with other staff members to help execute design vision for the various teams within our House (art for Spiritual Formation efforts, family ministries, and local engagement)
  • Help shepherd our creative / design Door Holders

  WORK SCHEDULE
  

  Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and all day Sunday // Schedule may vary based on needs of design projects

  REPORTS TO

  Worship + Creative Director

  • Is proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
  • Is able to concept designs from scratch with a strong eye for typography, color, and layout
  • Possesses excellent visual awareness and attention to detail

  • Possesses strong communication skillsIs able to multitask between several ongoing projects
