Job Description
- Req#: 18-02493
- Data Migration from old pc to new pc
- Back up / Format / Imaging of computers, troubleshooting as needed.
- Organizes own work assignments to contribute to smooth work flow.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Provide break/fix and troubleshooting to supported computer after refresh
- High level customer service skills
- Assist with unboxing/boxing of pcs and monitors if necessary
- Assist with imaging/backing up/formatting pcs if necessary
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Performs related duties as required.
- Able to perform in a fast paced environment
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent
- Experience: 1 year related experience
- Preferred: 1-2 years related experience
- MS Windows and MS Office environment
- Macintosh and Thin Clients a plus
- Knowledge of DHCP/Static IP
- experience with mapping drives, printer installations, various methods for moving data
- high level customer service skills
- must be able to perform in a team environment

Immediate opening – Client is looking for a Desktop Support Refresh Technician
Responsibilities
Installation/replacement/reimaging/Windows upgrade of dell computers which may require commuting to additional areas of campus including League City, Angleton and Webster area.
Qualifications:Skill Required / Desired Associates degree or equivalent. Required 1 year of related experience Required Proficient in MS Windows and MS Office Required Prior experience mapping drives, printer installations and various data migrations methods Highly desired Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
