      Responsibilities of a Detention Centre Security Guard

      • Watch and assist with processing of detainees
      • Regular wellness checks every 15 minutes
      • Recognize medical concerns
      • Complete documentation

      Qualifications of a Detention Centre Security Guard

      • Policing / correctional training or 3+ years of security experience
      • Permanent Canadian resident for a minimum of 5 years
      • Have a clear criminal background
      • Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Reliability Security Clearance status
      • First Aid CPR Level C (issued by Red Cross, St John Ambulance, Heart and Stroke)
