  Developer, Applications (IT)

  We are seeking an advanced SQL/ETL Developer to join our growing team. As a SQL developer, you will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining SQL databases and ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Your contributions will ensure efficient and reliable handling of large volumes of data, maintaining data integrity and enabling accurate reporting and analysis for better decision-making.

  We employ techniques such as; data aggregation, indexing, and partitioning to improve query performance and facilitate complex analytical queries. We provide unified views of data in multiple systems, enabling users to analyze trends, identify patterns, and make informed business decisions. Historical and current data is consolidated and accessible to the business through Tableau, Excel, and SQL Views.

  RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL databases, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Design and implement efficient ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses.
  • Interpret and create test plans for SQL and ETL development.
  • Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Write complex SQL queries for phone and ticket data and performance-tune existing queries for optimal database performance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and optimize query execution plans.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, process flows, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct data validation and testing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from different systems and ensure data integrity across applications.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to SQL, SSIS, and database development.
  • Consistently demonstrate exceptional collaboration, communication, adaptability, and analytical skills.
  • Tools Used: SSIS, SSMS, Team Foundation Server (TFS), TOAD, ServiceNow, CISCO, Tableau, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Confluence.

  QUALIFICATIONS:

  • More than five years of experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar role
  • Advanced T-SQL Experience
  • 1-2 yrs ETL SSIS Development
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Good time-management skills
  • Cisco and ServiceNow Experience (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with QA Processes (Preferred)

  Salary/ Wage Range

  $62,200.00 - $91,300.00 / year

  Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
