What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and maintain customized business application software for Revenue Cycle Management and Value-Based Care
- Lead small to medium development projects and document application flow
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements and documentation
- Mentor and advise lower-level developers while debugging and supporting existing code
- Contribute to the development of data management and reporting capabilities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or management information systems
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer working in an Agile environment, preferably Scrum
- 5+ years of professional experience with Microsoft technologies – C#, .NET (Framework 4.6+ and Core 2.1+)
- 3+ years of professional experience with SQL in a relational database environment
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with remote teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Azure and Azure DevOps
- Experience in Healthcare or Healthcare IT
- Familiarity with HL7 and X12 EDI
- Experience with a healthcare integration engine like Rhapsody or Mirth
- Nice to have experience in data modeling and data architecture
